In the beginning...

...there was a need. A need to create a place to spend time with a combination of safety and a respect for those who choose to chat.
The staff members of Serenity-IRC came together to help create this place towards the end of 2003. It is founded on solid principles which have been developed from both observation, discussion and the original passion for chatting.

The basic groundwork has now been completed, and with a strong committment to not only providing high quality service from both staff and servers alike, Serenity-IRC now looks forward to the future.
